Great concept for savvy shoppers and companies that have a great product to sell.

Example: 
Recently, a new local bakery offered a discount on an order of a 1/2 dozen cupcakes and they sold almost 1400 orders in one day. Great way to get the word out about your business and a great deal for everyone else.
